Four national standard sample development projects of SWA were approved

West Aluminum - West Aluminum Industry Telecom:Recently, the National Standardization Administration Committee announced the project approval results of the first batch of national standard sample research and replication plan in 2020, including "cast aluminum alloy 360a. 1 single point standard sample", "aluminum alloy 5182 spectrum single point standard sample", "aluminum alloy 5005 spectrum single point standard sample" and "pure aluminum 1080 spectrum single point standard sample" 4 The project of national standard sample research and development has been supported by the project. The research and development tasks are undertaken by the melting and casting plant and will be completed in 2022.

In terms of varieties, the four projects include cast aluminum alloy 360a. 1 for motorcycle accessories, mechanical and electrical equipment, manual tools and other industries, and aluminum alloy for processing can covers and automobile covers 5182, aluminum alloy 5005 for automobile decoration bright strip, cooking utensils, instrument panel, building decoration and other industries, and pure aluminum 1080 for packaging, decoration, instrumentation, chemical industry and other industries. In order to ensure the accurate control and analysis of chemical composition of this kind of alloy, four projects proposed to develop 11, 11, 8 and 11 element spectral single point standard samples to meet the requirements of 360a. 1 The requirements of chemical composition analysis for cast aluminum alloy and similar high silicon aluminum alloy, 5182 and similar aluminum alloy, 5005 and similar aluminum alloy, 1080 and similar pure aluminum and electrolytic aluminum chemical composition analysis will provide technical support for the industry to carry out relevant detection, and has important practical significance for reducing material performance fluctuation and improving material quality.
