Five national standard sample projects newly developed by SWA passed expert appraisal and evaluation

West Aluminum - West Aluminum Industry Telecom: From August 19 to 21, 2020, the appraisal meeting of nonferrous metal standard samples in 2020 was held in Yantai City, Shandong Province. The conference carried out project approval demonstration on 34 national or industrial standard projects, and evaluated 7 national standard development projects and 38 national standard or industrial standard projects that applied for extension. Among them, 9 spectral series or single point standard samples of cast aluminum alloy 336z. 1 and aluminum alloy 7B50 proposed by SWA passed the project approval; 5 national standard projects, including cast aluminum alloy 360a. 1 spectral single point standard sample and 4xxx series aluminum alloy spectrum series standard sample, passed the expert group identification and were recommended as national standard samples for approval.

4xxx series aluminum alloy is characterized by low melting point, good melt fluidity, easy feeding, good wear resistance and high temperature performance, easy machining, good heat conduction, strong pressure bearing and high temperature resistance. It is mainly used in manufacturing aluminum alloy welding additive materials and heat-resistant components, and is widely used in automobile, shipbuilding, chemical industry and other industries. There are 8 points and 11 elements in the spectrum series standard sample of 4xxx series aluminum alloy developed by SWA. After three years, through more than 20 main processes such as composition design and melting, the development task has been successfully completed and the design index has been reached. Through the comparison experiment, the main technical indexes have reached the advanced level of similar international standard samples, and filled the blank of 4xxx series aluminum alloy spectrum series standard samples.
