Compared with the traditional rectangular ring, this special-shaped ring can save about 40% in feeding, greatly reduce the diameter of ingot, increase the degree of deformation and improve the effect of heat treatment. The research on large-size aluminum alloy special-shaped ring is still blank in China. It is necessary to carry out research work from forging bloom, rolling of special-shaped ring and heat treatment (quenching + bulging + artificial aging) to develop high-performance and stable large-size ring, meet the urgent needs of the development of China's aerospace industry and ensure the smooth completion of national major engineering research and development tasks.
