Southwest Aluminum has newly approved 12 research and replication projects of national standard samples of aluminum and aluminum alloys

Recently, the National Standards Commission issued the project notice of the second batch of recommended national standards plan and the second batch of national standard sample research and replication plan in 2021.

West Aluminum - West Aluminum Industry Telecom: Recently, the National Standards Commission issued the project notice of the second batch of recommended national standards plan and the second batch of national standard sample research and replication plan in 2021. Southwest Aluminum Melting and casting plant has undertaken the development of 9 spectral single point standard samples and the replication of 3 spectral standard samples.

The nine spectral single point standard sample development projects are aluminum alloy 6005A, 5083, 7B50, 5754, 7136 and 8021, cast aluminum alloy 336z. 1, 355z. 2 and 356z. 2. The three spectral standard sample replication projects are pure aluminum, aluminum alloy 2219 and aluminum alloy 3003 (including Pb).

As a designated research and development unit of national nonferrous metal standard samples, Southwest Aluminum has been developing aluminum and magnesium alloy standard samples in combination with the production needs of enterprises and the development trend of new materials in nonferrous industry for many years. After more than 30 years of development, Southwest Aluminum has gradually grown into an enterprise developing standard samples in nonferrous industry.

The approved project is the national standard sample developed by Southwest Aluminum according to the development trend of national new aluminum alloy materials and the gap of national standard samples of aluminum alloy, combined with the actual R & D and production of Southwest Aluminum new materials, including aluminum alloys used in key fields such as aerospace and aviation, as well as civil aluminum alloys used in track crossing, automobile and ship, electromechanical equipment and other fields. The approval and release of the above aluminum alloy standard samples not only provides quantitative traceability for the chemical composition analysis of these aluminum alloy materials, helps the development of aluminum materials, but also provides technical support for accelerating the localization process of high-tech aluminum alloy materials in China.
